Sophie Windover is in her third season at Ohio Northern.

She led the Polar Bears to a 20-9 overall record and a 5-4 OAC record last season. in 2024 ONU had the Libero of the year and a Third Team All American on roster.

Windover came to ONU in 2023 after two seasons as the head volleyball coach at fellow Ohio Athletic Conference member Wilmington. 2023 had several All OAC Accolades, as well as an All American HM.

In 2022, Windover led the Quakers to one of their best seasons in the last decade.

During her time at Wilmington, Windover coached 12 Academic All-OAC student-athletes and the program’s first All-OAC honoree. In 2021, the Quakers earned the USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award.

Prior to coaching at Wilmington, Windover served as the assistant volleyball coach at Heidelberg from 2019 to 2021.

Windover is a 2015 graduate of Emmanuel College (Ga.) and holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications.

I absolutely loved this camp and the opportunity to attend it! All of the players and coaches were so sweet and amazing! The coaches helped me out so much with things I had to improve on and cheering us on. Their methods of planning a high performance event were evident throughout the night at the Long Beach complex it was held. I don't think folks realize how important the work you do is and how beneficial to the kids it really is. The articles and rankings are a definite boost to a young athletes' career. I had a great time at the Oregon Stockup Showcase! The commute from Seattle to Beaverton was totally worth it because I met lots of awesome players and got in some valuable pre-tryout touches! It was cool having college players tell us about their experiences with the recruiting process and college life. The showcase was a very positive and empowering environment, with players and coaches cheering each other on; everyone was playing hard and having a blast. I would highly recommend this showcase to others and I would love to be apart of future Prepdig events.

I really loved the Prep Dig camp as the coaches gave incredible feedback and I was able to get many reps. The coaches coached all of us individually and were able to teach me more advanced techniques and increase my volleyball IQ. The other players at the camp had excellent skill and talent which made drills and games more fun. Everyone was also so easy to get along with which as a setter, made setter-hitter connections much easier. Overall, I had a great experience at Prep Dig Expo 250 Camp!
